The METU Library covers an area of 12.058m2 with its eight reading and two meeting halls. The library seats 750 readers simultaneously.
The METU Library has been in service with its large collection of books and journals since 1956. It is one of the main sources of research and reference for the country and has many services such as book, borrowing journals, CD-ROM, floppy, educational films, microfilm, videos and multimedia.
How can I borrow books?
Our tenants can borrow a book through their own representative according to the rules of the library. In order to do that, they should apply to Teknopark A.Ş., read the library instructions and sign that they accept the rules. After that, a card can be obtained when they apply to the library.
The library is open to all researchers. They can also use the photocopy service. The library is protected with an electronic door control system. Anyone who tries to take unapproved materials from the library, will be penalized .
